Shum Hing-cheung studied with Joe Kirtley at the HKAPA where he received a Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Music. While studying at the HKAPA, he played in several ensembles including brass quintet, woodwind quintet and horn ensemble. Shum joined the Hong Kong Sinfonietta in 2000.
