“Good Music This Lunch” returns

Hong Kong Sinfonietta’s hugely popular “Panasonic Proudly Sponsors: Good Music This Lunch” free lunchtime concert series is returning! Under the support of Title Sponsor Shun Hing Group, the orchestra’s musicians will present nine exciting programmes of sparkling chamber music this 2022/2023 season, where audiences can relax and recharge through listening to live classical music in the middle of a work day. Shun Hing Group has been supporting this initiative to promote classical music in the community since 2016, making an invaluable contribution towards the local development of arts appreciation.

This season’s first “Panasonic Proudly Sponsors: Good Music This Lunch” concert will take place at Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall on 16 May (Mon) at 12:40pm, featuring charming works for strings by Mozart and Beethoven, as well as a rare duet for cello and double bass by 18^th century composer Dragonetti.

The June edition of the concert, taking place at the same time and same place on 2 Jun (Thu), will showcase a larger variety of instruments from every instrument family in the orchestra, through the works of Prokofiev, Fauré, Bozza and Alan Schmitz.

Audience members may collect their free tickets in the foyer of Hong Kong City Hall on the day of the concert, with no prior registration required.
