Yat Po Singers is Hong Kong’s first professional a cappella choral theatre company. Founded by Patrick Chiu, Ng Cheuk-yin and Yuri Ng, it is currently led by Co-Artistic Directors Ng Cheuk-yin and Anna Lo. The company develops original works to promote a cappella art and explore the interaction of music and theatre, and has received awards including the Golden Sail Music Award, Hong Kong Drama Awards, and Award for Arts Promotion. It also supports young composers and artists through education and audience-building initiatives. Yat Po Singers is financially supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council under the Art Development Matching Grants Scheme.
