Since winning the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2010, Russian pianist Denis Kozhukhin has impressed audiences around the world with his supreme command of the instrument and the tremendous emotional power in his playing. He will join hands with Hong Kong Sinfonietta and Music Director Christoph Poppen to perform Rachmaninov’s monumental Third Concerto, one of the greatest Romantic concertos ever written, in a beautiful programme which also includes Tchaikovsky’s exquisite Serenade for Strings, and the world première of rising composer Jing Wang’s Glacier Pulse.
