Due to critical personal circumstances, Jason Lai, the original conductor scheduled to conduct in the concert “Sounds Great! Classical Music in Movies” on 3-5 August 2018, is not able to come to Hong Kong. His place will be taken up by Music Director/Conductor Yip Wing-sie. The programme remains unchanged.

With Music Director Yip Wing-sie and Hong Kong Sinfonietta playing excerpts of classical masterpieces ranging from Richard Strauss’s Also Sprach Zarathustra, Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries, Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A, Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture to John Williams’ Star Wars, it is time for some movie magic!
