Jia Shu-chen obtained his Bachelor of Music Performance (Violin) from the Central Conservatory of Music, China, in 2011 studying with Xie Nan. Between 2008 and 2011, he was invited to be a guest player performing with the China National Symphony Orchestra, China Opera Symphony Orchestra, China National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra. In 2011, he became a Robert H.N. Ho Foundation Orchestral fellow of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2012, his quartet was invited to perform in the Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival.
