Marianne Pärna graduated in singing from Georg Ots Music School, Tallinn, and has continued her education with Allan Vurma. She sang in the Estonian Radio Choir during her studies, and has also sung in the Estonian National Opera Choir for eight years. Since 2005, she has been a soloist and choir singer of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. She has sung solo parts in many large-scale works, such as Bach’s St John Passion, Vivaldi’s Beatus Vir, Pärt’s Miserere, Litany, Passio and Kanon Pokajanen, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, Rachmaninov’s All-Night Vigil, Pärt-Wilson’s Adam’s Passion, Tõnu Kõrvits’ Moorland Elegies, Igor Stravinsky’s Requiem Canticles, etc.
