Micah Sandt was trained as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Most recently in Hong Kong he performed in the one-man show Gweilo, and as Marcus in Yellow Face with Pants Productions. UK theatre credits include A Winter’s Tale (The Musical), Analogue Theatre’s original Sleepless, The Comedy of Errors, and Three Sisters. Other Hong Kong theatre credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, Pippin, and Little Shop of Horrors.
Outside of acting Sandt works as a composer, arranger and musical director. He is currently doing his master’s degree in Graduate Musical Theatre Writing at The New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Sandt has composed and arranged for mostly companies in the UK including Genesis Ballet, Rare Moustache and The Haywood Sisters. In Hong Kong he was previously the Music Director of Hong Kong Women’s Choir’s a cappella group Grace Notes.
