Two of the brightest rising stars in the classical music scene – French pianist Rémi Geniet and Russian violinist Aylen Pritchin – come together in this recital to present to you a musical journey to remember. Opening in a more Classical voice with the sparkling sonatas of Mozart and Beethoven, the programme moves to Ravel’s exhilarating and spellbinding Valses Nobles et Sentimentales for solo piano, before the two artists reunite for an emphatic conclusion with Richard Strauss’ brilliant Sonata for Violin & Piano in E-flat, celebrated for its romantic lyricism and effervescent energy.
